Encompassing an entire city block in San Francisco’s Financial District, one of the most sought-after global gateway cities in the world, the Transamerica Pyramid Center is a symbol of the strength of San Francisco.

Designed by famed architect William Pereira and completed in 1972, the Transamerica Pyramid stands at a height of over 850 feet. The building is the second tallest building in San Francisco, and its illuminated spire is the most recognizable landmark on the San Francisco skyline.

With unobstructed views, Transamerica Pyramid boasts a striking exterior clad in white quartz, with over 3,000 windows. Unique in its form, the building allows for distinct floor plates from 3,000 to 20,0000 square feet. In 2019, The Transamerica Pyramid Center was re-certified LEED Platinum.

SHVO purchased Transamerica Pyramid Center in 2020 and is working in collaboration with Foster + Partners to revitalize this iconic asset. New on-site amenities will include a fitness center, lounge, restaurant, meeting rooms and skybar. CORE is planning to move into Transamerica.

“The word iconic is overused but it’s truly an iconic building, it’s a piece of history. It’s about responding to a very specific climate of a city, it’s about health, it’s about sustainability, it’s about green.”
